How it Happened
After the Badgers took a 0-0 lead into halftime, Northwestern kept Wisconsin off the scoreboard the remainder of the game. Christian Garner led Northwestern with two saves. The Wildcats recorded 16 shots in the loss, five of them on goal. Northwestern faced eight Wisconsin shots, three of them on goal.
