Tottenham vs Man City - WSL preview: TV channel, live stream, predicted lineups & prediction

Manchester City will be attempting to secure only their second win of the season when they travel to Tottenham on Saturday, having finally got off the mark against Leicester last time out.

City had suffered a pair of defeats in their opening two WSL matches after a summer of squad turnover, but cruised to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over the Foxes.

They play a Spurs side who looked back to their best during their recent win against Liverpool, and were unfortunate not to record a greater margin over victory following a dominant first half display.

When is kick off? Saturday 22 October, 11:30 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Brisbane Road
TV channel/live stream? Sky Sports Premier League
What time does coverage start? 11:00 (BST)
Referee? Emily Heaslip

Kit Graham and Kyah Simon are long term absentees for Tottenham, with the pair both sidelined with ACL injuries. Rosella Ayane is also unavailable for Spurs with a foot fracture.

Rehanne Skinner described Kerys Harrop as ‘close’ to making her return following injury, while Chioma Ubogagu is back on the training pitch after serving a nine-month doping suspension due to a banned substance in her acne medication.

Tottenham (4-3-3): Spencer; Turner, Zadorsky, Bartrip, Ale; Summanen, James, Spence; Bizet, Karczewska, Neville.

Manchester City are without Alana Kennedy, who is sidelined with a shoulder fracture, while Ruby Mace also continues to miss out but is getting ‘closer’ to a return.

Man City (4-3-3): Roebuck; Casparij, Aleixandri, Greenwood, Morgan; Hasegawa, Coombs, Castellanos; Kelly, Shaw, Hemp.

Having struggled to create many clear cut chances during their opening two WSL matches, Tottenham looked a real threat going forward during last weekend’s victory over Liverpool and ran out deserved winners. Rehanne Skinner’s traditionally well-organised side aren’t renowned for shipping goals and losing 4-0 to rivals Arsenal in September was really out of character.

After a tough start to the season, City appeared to find their groove against Leicester, with the front three of Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Bunny Shaw looking electric. It will be hard fought, but City should just edge it.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Man City
