'Cats Set to Host #8 Maryland at Martin Stadium


EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern hosts #8 Maryland at Martin Stadium on Sunday, October 9, at noon CT. Action will be streamed live on B1G+ and admission is free for all fans.
 
The ‘Cats (1-6-3, 0-3-1 B1G) are coming off a 2-2 draw with #20 Penn State last Sunday at Martin Stadium. Justin Weiss and Ethan Dudley each scored unassisted goals for the Wildcats.

Maryland, the highest ranked team in the Big Ten, is 7-1-2 this season including 3-0-1 in conference play. The Terrapins are riding a seven-game unbeaten streak and are 4-0-0 against ranked opponents this season. Team captains Malcolm Johnston and Nick Richardson lead Maryland with 12 and 10 points apiece.
Northwestern is 3-6-1 against Maryland all-time, with the ‘Cats knocking Maryland out of the Big Ten Tournament in penalty kicks in their last meeting last season.
