David Beckham’s son, Romeo, has been training with Brentford’s B team this week at their Jersey Road training centre in west London.
The 20-year-old is contracted to Inter Miami, who are owned by his father and managed by David’s former teammate Phil Neville.
While he has played for Inter Miami in friendlies, Beckham is yet to make his senior debut for the Herons, and has instead largely featured for their reserve side, Inter Miami II, in the MLS Next Pro developmental league.
With Inter Miami II’s season over, Beckham has returned to his hometown of London and has been training with Brentford B.
Brentford B do not compete in any structured youth developmental league, instead playing in friendlies against opposition from across the globe.
Reports in both England and the US have not revealed how long Beckham will be training with the Bees for.
Beckham, a boyhood Arsenal fan despite his father’s allegiances to several other clubs, was previously on the books at the Gunners, but was released in 2014 soon after joining.
He then stated he wanted to pursue a career away from football, though has since returned to the sport. His siblings, Brooklyn and Cruz, are exploring avenues outside of football after their own releases from Arsenal.
