EVANSTON, — Northwestern and No. 20 Penn State played to a 2-2 draw Sunday (Oct. 2) at home at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.
The tie moved Northwestern’s record to 1-6-3 overall and 0-3-1 in Big Ten play.
How it Happened
Penn State took a 1-0 lead when Ben Liscum scored in the 24th minute, assisted by Seth Kuhn and Liam Butts.
The Wildcats responded quickly, leveling the match on a goal from Justin Weiss — his third goal of the season — in the 27th minute.

Penn State then busted up the 1-1 tie on Peter Mangione’s 49th-minute goal, assisted by Butts.
The ‘Cats equalized with a 53rd-minute goal from Ethan Dudley, his second goal of the season.
