Head Coach Trevor Gorman: “We’re pleased to get another conference win tonight.  I thought we had control in the first half but didn’t threaten their goal enough.  In the second half, we wanted to be more aggressive in the final third and it was good to see the goals go in.”

How it Happened

  • UAlbany’s defense held Bryant without a shot until the 28th minute, when their first attempt fell weakly into UAlbany goalkeeper Shafique Wilson’s hands.  In this time, UAlbany had taken five shots, one of which was on target.
  • Neither team scored in the first half, and the Great Danes entered the break with a 6-1 advantage in shots taken while controlling 60% of possession.  Both goalkeepers recorded one save in the first half, and Bryant had committed seven…
