LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men’s soccer forward Aboubacar Camara was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Camara has taken home the conference’s weekly honor three times in his career, earning the award once in each of his three seasons.
The junior tallied goals in each of Louisville’s contests last week. Camara scored the lone UofL goal in a 1-0 victory at Florida Gulf Coast and then struck in the opening five minutes of the 2-1 win over No. 8 Pitt on Friday.
Camara has three goals on the season and has moved into a tie for eighth on Louisville’s career scoring list with 22 career goals.
Louisville plays host to UNC Greensboro Tuesday night at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
