SEATTLE – For the second time this season, Ilijah Paul has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Paul becomes the first Husky since 2019 to win multiple conference weekly honors, the last being Blake Bodily.

The sophomore forward tallied two goals in the match against Michigan State last Friday on the way to the 4-1 victory for the Huskies. Paul recorded his second multi-goal match of the season, with his last being the three goal performance against Utah Valley on Sept. 2.

Paul leads the nation with seven goals on the year. He is also second nationally in goals per game (1.17), points per game (2.50) and total points (15).

This season, the Huskies have taken home three of the four Pac-12 Player of the Week honors with Christian Soto earning it on Aug. 29 and Paul’s two (Sept. 5 and Sept. 19).

The Huskies return to the pitch on Tuesday night when they host crosstown rival Seattle U at 7 p.m. from Husky Soccer Stadium. Tickets are available by clicking here.
