Brzykcy Named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of Week

For a record eighth time in her career and third time in the last four weeks, UCLA’s Lauren Brzykcy has been named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week.

Brzykcy, a graduate student from San Clemente, Calif., led top-ranked UCLA to a perfect non-conference record following a pair of shutout victories last week over No. 9 Pepperdine and San Diego State. She recorded four saves on eight Pepperdine attempts and made two saves on three San Diego State shots. Her two wins this week launched her into UCLA’s all-time Top 5 for career victories with 45.
