BERKELEY – California women’s soccer completed a dominant week with a 3-0 win over Penn on Sunday afternoon at Edwards Stadium. Cal scored three times in a 12-minute span at the beginning of the second half to ensure victory and run their unbeaten streak to eight matches.

Oke collected the ball and whipped a ball into the middle where Ari Manrique was able to get a foot on it to tap it past the keeper and give the Bears the lead.

Eight minutes later, Jadyn Shinn added a second goal for the Bears as she tapped home a corner kick. Kailee Gifford took the kick from the right corner and Shinn met the ball with a volley inside the six yard box.

Less than four minute later the Bears made it 3-0 from a free kick. Anysa Gray won the free kick on the left flank just outside the box. Manrique took the free kick, playing a low ball through the six-yard-box which Paige Metayer was able to flick home to give the Bears an insurmountable lead.
