COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s soccer program will recognize its alumni Sunday when the No. 22 Buckeyes (4-0-2) open the Big Ten Conference season by playing host to No. 15 Indiana (3-1-1). First touch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Admission and parking are free for all Ohio State men’s soccer contests.
The Buckeyes are off to one of the best starts in program history. The last time the Buckeyes opened the season without a lose over the first six games was in 2009 (3-0-3). The Buckeyes went 5-0-3 that season before suffering their first defeat.

- Ohio State is playing its third-consecutive Top 15 opponent of the season against No. 15 Indiana. The Buckeyes defeated No. 12 Butler Sept. 9 and then battled to a 3-all draw at No. 14 Akron Sept. 13.
- Senior Keagan McLaughlin has posted four-consecutive shutouts and has held opponents to just one goal over his first five games of the season. The Notre Dame transfer, has 14-career shutouts and four as a Buckeye.
- McLaughlin’s efforts in a 1-0 win at Bowling Green and a 2-0 home win over Wright State earned him the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (9/6/22). He added league honor last Tuesday when he was named the Co-Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after a 2-0 shutout of No. 12 Butler. McLaughlin’s efforts also earned him a spot on the CollegeSoccerNews Team of the Week (Sept. 11) as the keeper.
