Trevithick Named UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready


Senior forward Kali Trevithick of the UCLA women’s soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Sept. 6-11.

Playing in her first game since May 5, 2020, Trevithick scored two goals in a two-minute span and had another shot on goal in her nine minutes of play to help lead No. 1 UCLA to a 5-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 11. Trevithick, who has endured multiple knee surgeries during her time at UCLA, had played in just 12 career games for a total of 473 minutes over the course of three seasons, most recently in the 2020-21 season, when she played 24 minutes in two games. She has scored four career goals in just 13 games and 482 minutes.

This is Trevithick’s first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of her career.
