TAMPA, Fla. – UW men’s soccer head coach Jamie Clark earned his 150th victory in the Purple and Gold with Tuesday’s 3-0 win at South Florida. The Huskies improve to 4-0-0 on the season.

Lucas Meek got the Huskies on the board early. In the fifth minute, Meek was fouled and awarded the free kick which Kalani Kossa-Rienzi took and sent it to Omar Grey who crossed it back into Meek to put Washington up 1-0.

Christian Soto added to his season goal total in the 49th minute with a left footed shot that just got past the USF goalie for the 2-0 lead. The goal marked the third for the junior this season.

Kossa-Rienzi tacked on the third goal of the night for the Dawgs in the 81st minute, his first of the season. The sophomore’s three points also sets a new single-game career-high.

The clean sheet marked the 23rd in his career for Sam Fowler, adding to his fourth place total in program history. It also moves him into a tie for sixth in Pac-12 history with that number.

The Huskies return home for the next three matches, opening up with Air Force on Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. Tickets for all remaining home contest can be found by clicking here.
