We created many clear-cut chances and showed our ability. Sometimes one goal on a counter can change things, and we had to deal with that today. How it Happened
- Friday night’s game was delayed by more than an hour before play finally started just before 8:15 pm.
- Setting an aggressive tone early, UAlbany fired off two shots in the first two minutes of the game, both from Andrew Weiner, who was making his first appearance of the season. The Great Danes did not manage another shot until the 27th and 28th minutes.
- In the final five minutes of the half, UAlbany upped its pressure, taking three shots over a span of just over two in-game minutes. None of UAlbany’s attempts broke through, however, and the teams went into the break in a scoreless tie.
