SEATTLE – The undefeated Washington women’s soccer team returns home to face Texas Tech on Thursday night at Husky Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
 
Washington’s 13 goals over the first four contests marks the fourth time in program history that has happened, the last time was during the 2001 season. The Huskies (3-0-1) are undefeated entering the fifth contest of the season for the sixth time in program history.
 
WASHINGTON-TEXAS TECH SERIES HISTORY
This is the first time that the programs have met.
 
THE LAST TIME OUT
Washington returns home after a Southern California road trip where they faced Loyola Marymount and Long Beach State last weekend. The Huskies came away with a 0-0 draw at LMU but came back and won 5-1 over Long Beach State.
 
SUCCESS SO FAR 
Karlee Stueckle is leading the team with three goals over the first four games of the season. The senior has set a single-season point total (7). Kyla Ferry and Hailey Still both have multiple goals.
 
Kolo Suliafu, McKenzie Weiner, Summer Yates, Kelsey Branson and Shae Holmes lead the team with two assists on the season. In addition, Karlee Stueckle, Kyla Ferry, Kala McDaniel, Jace Holmes, Claudia Longo, Lucy Newlin, Elena Palacios and Cori Sullivan all have an assist on the year.
 
Washington is second nationally and first in the Pac-12 with 4.50 assists per game. The Huskies also rank first nationally with 18 total assists on the season.
 
INDIVIDUAL RECOGNITION 
Fifth-year forward Summer Yates was added to the United Soccer Coaches Player Watch List. She was also named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List and ranked 23rd in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 100.  
 
Freshman defender Kolo Suliafu was also recognized as a Top Drawer Soccer Preseason Freshman Best XI.
