Brighton 1-0 Leeds: Gross negligence from Marsch’s men keeps Seagulls flying

Jesse Marsch is shown a yellow card

Brighton kept the pace in the Premier League title race by beating Leeds 1-0 through a Pascal Gross goal.

In this meeting of two teams who had remained unbeaten through their first three games of the season, Brighton were far superior and deserved their win.

Gross scored the only goal to continue his own fine form, finishing a great move involving Pervis Estupinan, Danny Welbeck, Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard.

The Seagulls set a new club record for unbeaten top-flight games in the process, going nine without defeat since losing at Manchester City in April.
