How it Happened

  • Originally scheduled for a rare 12:00 pm weekday kickoff, Friday’s game was delayed until 5:30 pm due to inclement weather in the area.
  • Brown jumped out to an early lead, scoring in the sixth minute when Sheyenne Allen found Brittany Raphino on a cross redirected into the low far corner.
  • Twelve minutes later, Kayla Duran connected with Kira Maguire to put Brown up 2-0 within the first 20 minutes of game time.
  • Brown ended up out-shooting UAlbany 12-7 overall, and held UAlbany to just two shots in the second half.  It was the first time this season that UAlbany had been outshot by its opponent.
