Women’s Soccer Releases 2022 Promotional Schedule


PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women’s soccer invites the Scarlet Knight community to Yurcak Field for eight themed matches during the 2022 season with special events, giveaways, and raffles.
 
Before each and every home contest – beginning with the home opener on Sun., Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. against Buffalo – a raucous Rutgers tailgate takes place in the parking lot three hours before kickoff. Then 90 minutes before kickoff, fans are encouraged to welcome the Scarlet Knights to Yurcak Field at the Scarlet Walk located outside the ticket booth.
 
Thurs., Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. marks the first themed match for 2022. Attendance for all Rutgers women’s soccer matches at Yurcak Field is free, as is parking by following this link for a one-time registration for the season.

New Brunswick Night
Rutgers women’s soccer invites all local New Brunswick residents as we celebrate our community.
 
Thursday, Sept. 8 | 7 p.m. vs. La Salle
Hometown Heroes Day
Rutgers women’s soccer invites all local first responders who serve and honor our community.
 
Sunday, Sept. 11 | 12 p.m. vs. LSU
Camp Reunion
All former Rutgers women’s soccer campers are invited to attend our Camp Reunion, with the first 250 fans in attendance receiving a Rutgers Soccer hair tie wristlet.
 
Sunday, Sept. 18 | 1 p.m. vs. Ohio State
Title IX Celebration
Join Rutgers Athletics as we honor the 50th anniversary of Title IX.
 
Sunday, Sept. 25 | 1 p.m. vs. Maryland
NJ Youth Soccer and Disney Day
The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a mini soccer ball and fans who come dressed as their favorite Disney character will be entered to win a raffle.
 
Sunday, Oct. 9 | 4 p.m. vs. Indiana
Breast Cancer Awareness
Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The first 250 fans will receive a pink Rutgers Soccer headband.
 
Thursday, Oct. 13 | 7 p.m. vs. Minnesota
MVP Night and Donate Life Liver Cancer Awareness
Rutgers women’s soccer supports the Donate Life Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports donation and transplantation to heal and save lives.
 
Sunday, Oct. 16 | 1 p.m. vs. Wisconsin
Senior Day
Fans are encouraged to wear red as we honor our senior class.
