Men’s Soccer Posts 2-1 Victory Over Air Force In Season Opener

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Despite facing an early deficit, the University of North Carolina men’s soccer team responded with a pair of goals in the first half to post a 2-1 victory over Air Force in the 2022 season opener at Dorrance Field on Thursday night.

North Carolina dominated possession in both halves, taking 12 shots to Air Force’s three while also holding an 8-1 edge in corners. Despite several other UNC attempts to extend its lead, White’s goal proved to be the game winner as the Tar Heels begin their 2022 campaign with a victory.
