Thursday versus Baylor
The Gators face Baylor to start a double-header at the Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field. Texas plays host to North Carolina later that day. Both Florida and Baylor are led by coaches in their first season at the institutions. Samantha Bohon joined the Gators in May after spending the last 15 seasons at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla. While with Embry-Riddle, Bohon coached four consecutive Sun Conference Tournament champion teams and after the program transitioned to NCAA Division II, finished with the last two Sunshine State Tournament titles, advancing to NCAA DII Tournament action both seasons.

Baylor is led by Michelle Lenard, who came to the Bears in December 2021 after leading Dallas Baptist for 14 seasons. She led the Patriots to 13 conference championships (seven regular-season / six tournament titles). Tabbed four times as conference coach of the year, Lenard led DBU to nine NCAA Tournament berths, advancing to 2015 quarterfinal round.

Sunday at Texas
Florida’s Samantha Bohon started her coaching career as a Tennessee Assistant Coach under now Texas coach Angela Kelly for the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 seasons. The Lady Vols won their three Southeastern Conference regular-season titles in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Tennessee also won its first two SEC Tournament titles with overtime wins over Florida in 2002 (2-1 2OT) and 2003 (1-1 2OT 7-6 PK). Texas is receiving votes in the August 23 United Soccer Coaches poll.
