Still On Top: San Antonio FC leads the USL Championship with 56 points behind an 18-4-2 record. The 18 wins are the most in the league, with the team’s +22 goal differential the best in the Western Conference.
Trophy Hunting: San Antonio FC is just four points away from clinching the team’s third-straight trip to the postseason, and can do so Saturday with a win AND a win by New Mexico United against Monterey Bay F.C.. Additionally, SAFC leads in the hunt for the Copa Tejas Shield, edging out Austin FC of MLS in points per game at 2.33 to 1.92.
Chasing (Club) History: San Antonio has already set a new club record for wins in a single season with 18, with 10 still to play. The team’s 56 points are the second-most in club history, trailing the all-time record (62), set in 2017, by just six points.
