Manchester United are now actively looking at a loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic – with the £58m American keen on the move as he seeks more game time ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup

Manchester United are considering a loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic to help bolster their options this summer.

Newcastle, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also keen on the USA international who has struggled to establish himself under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. 

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £58million in 2019, could now head to Premier League rivals United as he seeks regular game time with his agent pushing for the move to happen.

United were originally unsure on the 23-year-old, but with options changing, and a miserable start to the new season things have changed. 

Erik ten Hag’s side look light in attack, especially given the uncertainty surrounding star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, and the injury to Anthony Martial at present – therefore Pulisic could be a good fit.

Liverpool also showed an interest in the former Dortmund star, but Chelsea were not willing to sell to a direct rival.

Chelsea are, however, willing to listen to loan offers from other clubs as they have been throughout the summer with boss Tuchel looking to re-shape his attacking line.

The deal appears to be down to Chelsea and what they are willing to do with Pulisic with just two weeks left in the transfer window.

Pulisic has also spoken about his frustration at the lack of starts he has received under Tuchel and has been played in a number of positions.
