Contracts

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a 1-year contract with AC Milan despite the 40-year-old being out with an ACL injury.

Ian Wright’s grandson (how old does that make me feel!) D’Margio Wright-Phillips has signed a new two-year deal with an option for a further year with Stoke City. The 20-year-old is the son of Shaun Wright-Phillips. Also signing a new contract with Stoke is Connor Taylor who has agreed a 3-year contract.

Jude Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe Bellingham has agreed his first professional contract with Birmingham City. He will sign it when he turns 17 on 23rd September.

Former Liverpool youngster Liam Coyle has signed a 2-year deal with Accrington Stanley. Obviously never drank enough milk as a kid.

 


Transfers

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign their second player from Manchester City this summer in the shape of Oleksandr Zinchenko.

After he requested a permanent move from Chelsea, Armando Broja has flown back to the UK for talks with West Ham United.

Manchester United have agreed the signing of Argentine defender/midfielder Lisandro Martinez from Ajax pending a medical for £51.63m.

Rangers have agreed to sign Liverpool defender Ben Davies as they look to replace the outgoing Calvin Bassey, who is set to join Ajax to replace Martinez after the two clubs agreed a fee. Also joining Rangers is USA international midfielder Malik Tillman on a season-long loan deal from Bayern Munich, with an option to buy.

Nottingham Forest have signed teenage Costa Rica international Brandon Aguilera from Alajuense will complete a loan spell with fellow Costa Rican side Guanacasteca before joining up with Forest.

Everton have sent young defender Jarrad Branthwaite to PSV Eindhoven on loan for the season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has signed for Manchester United on a free transfer from Brentford.

Paris Saint-Germain have signed Stade Reims striker Hugo Ekitike on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

Barcelona have agreed the expected deal with Bayern Munich to sign Poland striker Robert Lewandowski for £40.5m.

Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC have signed Federico Bernadeschi on a free transfer from Juventus. At the age of 28, the Italian international winger is not the usual profile of European player to sign with an MLS team. He is joining another Italian international winger in the Toronto squad, in the shape of Lorenzo Insigne.
