WASHINGTON, DC – D.C. United have acquired midfielder Abdoul Zanne on a four-day loan from United Soccer League (USL) Championship affiliate Loudoun United FC for their match against Minnesota United on July 16.
Zanne joined Loudoun United FC on loan on April 1, 2022, from ASEC Mimosas in the Ivory Coast. The midfielder has scored one goal and recorded one assist in 11 appearances for the Red-and-White this season. He made his debut for the club against the Oakland Roots on April 17, 2022 and recorded an assist in the match. Zanne scored his first goal the following match against Legion FC on April 24, 2022. The 19-year-old is on loan with Loudoun United FC until Nov. 30, 2022.
