Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is closing in on a loan move to PSV Eindhoven.

However, the Dutch club conceded 23 more than their rivals in 2021-22, closing out the season with the worst defensive record amongst the top four.
Branthwaite’s addition on loan would be a temporary move by PSV to shore up the defence ahead another title charge.
Meanwhile, Everton have made defensive reinforcements of their own following the arrival of James Tarkowski on a free transfer.
