Cristiano Ronaldo drifts in the top goalscorer betting amid uncertainty over Man Utd future

Erling Haaland still heads the Premier League top goalscorer market but a number of moves and rumours have meant there has been a fair bit of fluctuation in the betting.

The Manchester City forward is available generally at around 3/1 to claim the Golden Boot, having been around 9/2 after making his switch from Borussia Dortmund.

The departure of Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal and Raheem Sterling’s impending move to Chelsea will strip 21 goals from City’s 2021/22 output and Haaland, as Pep Guardiola’s attacking focal point, looks set to be the main beneficiary.

Confirmation that Mohamed Salah is staying at Anfield means the Liverpool man has come into around 9/2 to retain the crown he shared last year with Tottenham’s Heung-min Son.

Harry Kane has remained steady at 6/1 but speculation surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo has seen the Portuguese forward drift in the market.

Ronaldo has reportedly told Manchester United he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.
