First Annual Armed Forces Night at Fresno State Soccer Stadium Saturday

June 28, 2022 – United Soccer League One (USL1) – Central Valley Fuego FC News Release

This Saturday, July 2, Fuego FC will host the first Armed Forces Night presented by Yosemite Falls Café at Fresno State Soccer Stadium. The home side takes on South Georgia Tormenta FC at 7:30 PM. Through associate partners, Fuego FC will host members of the American Legion, Leemore Naval Base and the 144th Fighter Wing, and many other veterans and active military personnel.

Before the Match

Buy a Troop a Ticket

Send a troop to the match by purchasing their ticket. Fuego FC will distribute tickets to Central Valley military and veterans.

National Anthem

Former Miss Fresno County 2011, Valerie Salcedo will sing the National Anthem. A Fresno native, Salcedo has been singing for 15 years. She is a highly admired local military singer who donates her time to various military organizations, most significantly her 2019 performance at the sold-out Steinway Fresno to benefit Central Valley Honor Flight. Salcedo’s passion for our men and women in uniform emerged after her cousin Austin joined the U.S. Air Force.
