British-trained runners have a good record in the 5f Rockingham Handicap and both qualifiers today can fight out the finish of this Premier Handicap. TEES SPIRIT, the likely pace angle towards the far side from stall 4 of 18, is 7lb higher than when landing the ‘Dash’ at Epsom last time but could still prove hard to catch. If they do go too hard on the far side (ONLY SPOOFING could also put pace to the race from stall 5) then ALLIGATOR ALLEY could be the one to benefit. He’s made the frame in three of his four start for David O’Meara and was poorly drawn when beating only a couple home at York in the other. The quicker they go, the better for him.
