Paul Pogba says he wants to show Man Utd “that they made a mistake” by waiting to make him a contract offer.
The Red Devils recently confirmed that the France international will leave the Premier League club when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Pogba re-joined Man Utd from Juventus in 2016 for a world-record fee at the time of £89m with the midfielder scoring 39 times in 226 appearances in all competitions.

It was a topsy-turvy spell for Pogba at Old Trafford and he will now leave the club for the second time as a free agent.
But Pogba claims it could’ve been different if Man Utd had not delayed their decision to offer him a new contract to remain in Manchester.
Speaking during a new Amazon Prime documentary called ‘The Pogmentary‘, Pogba said: “My thought process is to show Manchester (United) that they made a mistake in waiting to give me a contract.
“And to show other clubs that Manchester had made a mistake in not offering me a contract.”
It is understood that Man Utd made two or more offers to Pogba that exceeded his £290,000-a-week contract with late agent Mino Raiola revealing the second offer last July.
But Pogba insists the club offered him “nothing”, he added: “How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that.”
Juventus are the current favourites to land Pogba on a free over the summer but other clubs, including Newcastle, have also been linked.
But former Newcastle defender Jose Enrique has warned the Geordies to avoid signing Pogba this summer.
“It would be a massive mistake for them to go for Neymar or Pogba,” Enrique said recently.
“I don’t think Eddie Howe will go for these kinds of players. Pogba doesn’t suit Newcastle and Eddie Howe will look for a more aggressive, high-intensity player.
“It will be similar to when Man City signed Robinho, it didn’t work out and I know the fans would love these players, but they’ll go for the money and not the project.”
