C.F. Monterrey Rayados of Liga MX Academy, Atlanta United, Colorado Rapids of MLS Academy and New Mexico United of USL Academy will compete in inaugural tournament
New Mexico United and the Somos Unidos Foundation are thrilled to announce the inaugural Somos Unidos Cup – a major international youth soccer tournament set to to take place right here in New Mexico. The tournament will happen August 11th-14th, with the academies from C.F. Monterrey Rayados of Liga MX, Atlanta United and Colorado Rapids of MLS, and New Mexico United of USL Championship set to participate in year one.
“We are very excited to welcome in some of the top academy programs in North America,” said New Mexico United Academy Director Junro Narita. “New Mexicans can compete with the best young players in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome in top U.S. and International talent to the Land of Enchantment.”
Tickets for the inaugural Somos Unidos Cup will go on sale soon, with the tournament set to take place at New Mexico United’s Mesa del Sol training facility.
