Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida has revealed that he has his eyes set on a “dream” move to the Premier League.
The Netherlands under-21 international played 42 times across all competitions as his side reached this season’s inaugural Europa Conference League final.

Able to play right-back, centre-half and defensive midfield, the 21-year-old has racked up an impressive 109 appearances for the Eredisivie outfit already.
Speaking to NOS, Geertruida has made it clear that he wants a Premier League move at some point, with two years left on his Feyenoord deal.
He has also revealed that he grew up a Chelsea fan and has always wanted to emulate former Blues winger and compatriot, Arjen Robben, by fulfilling his “dream” of playing for the Stamford Bridge club.
Geertruida said (quotes via Football London): “I want to play in the Premier League one day. When I was young, I saw Arjen Robben play at Chelsea in a scary team. Then I thought: I want that too! I also have a shirt of him. Chelsea was just my club, man. Just like Feyenoord from an early age.
“Certainly. I just haven’t had the chance to go to such a dream club yet. They have never called. My agent also knows that I am a fan of the Premier League. But Feyenoord is still my dream club.”
Elsewhere, Manchester City have ‘offered’ Raheem Sterling to Chelsea, according to Spanish outlet AS.
The report claims that Sterling ‘considers his time at Manchester City to be over’ and the Premier League champions are said to be willing to sell him for less than his market value.
He could be an alternative to Ousmane Dembele, who is thought to be the Blues’ top forward target.
Sterling has also been offered to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, as well as La Liga pair, Barcelona and Real Madrid this summer.
