Aston Villa have confirmed the £2.8million signing of goalkeeper Robin Olsen from Roma after his loan last season.
Olsen cut his loan spell short at Sheffield United to join Steven Gerrard’s side on a temporary basis in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign.
Olsen only made one Premier League for Villa during his loan spell but provided ample back up for first choice shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez.

Olsen’s only appearance came during Villa’s lost to Manchester City on the final day of the season.
He conceded three goals at the Etihad Stadium – ultimately handing Pep Guardiola’s side the Premier League title.
However, Gerrard has been impressed with Olsen during training and has subsequently decided to move for him this summer.
