Serie A duo interested in Chelsea forward who has admitted he wants ‘more playing time’

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic and drawn interest from Serie A duo AC Milan and Juventus after the player admitted he would like more playing time next season.

The American only made 13 Premier League starts last season as he battled with the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner for a starting role at Stamford Bridge.

In an interview following the conclusion of the Premier League season, Pulisic admitted he would like more game time going forward.

“As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here [with the USMNT]. And I’m super excited to be here,” said Pulisic (via Goal).

“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“I think I still have a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”

If Pulisic doesn’t receive assurances that he will get more minutes next season, he could be available this summer and two Italian giants could be interested.

Football Italia are reporting that AC Milan and Juventus are keen on the former Borussia Dortmund star should he ask to leave this summer.

However, both clubs would prefer a loan deal, whether Chelsea would be open to that remains to be seen.

Elsewhere, Liverpool MP Ian Byrne has called for UEFA to retract their smears against Liverpool fans for the chaos at the Champions League final last weekend.
