Christian Pulisic has admitted he wants ‘more playing time’ at Chelsea after opening up on his future at Stamford Bridge and being linked with a summer move away.

The American forward made 38 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and picking up five assists, but started just 13 games in the Premier League.

His lack of minutes has fuelled speculation that he may look to leave in the transfer window, although Pulisic has insisted he is working to become a ‘regular at club level’.

He is currently away on international duty with the USA ahead of their busy run of fixtures this month, but was able to address his future when speaking to reporters.

‘As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here. And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it,’ he said.

‘Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.
