Former England manager Fabio Capello is expecting this year’s World Cup in Qatar to be “really good” for The Three Lions.
The Italian managed England for just over three years up until the start of 2012.
Under him, they were knocked out of the World Cup in the round of 16. They exited the competition following their 4-1 loss against Germany.

England have fared better in major competitions during Gareth Southgate’s spell in charge.
They reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup before they were beaten by Italy in the final of the European Championships last year.
This year’s World Cup takes place between November and December in Qatar. Capello thinks the timing of the World Cup will suit England:
“I like English football,” Capello told The Sun.
“I watch all the games in the Premier League. I prefer it. The problem sometimes is that English players arrive tired at the end of the season. Did you see Liverpool? [in their Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid ].
“It was their 63rd match. They weren’t fresh. They played well but weren’t as fast as they usually play. This time the World Cup will be in November and December.
“As England manager, I always said that you can play September, October, November against all the teams in the world – we are fresh, we are running, the mind is clear and clean. The next World Cup for England is really, really good. I really think so.
“It has arrived at the best moment for English football and English players. They will be fresh. Not after 63 games, like Liverpool.”
Elsewhere, West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen has said it means “everything” to earn a first England call-up and has reacted to rumours that Declan Rice could leave the London Stadium this summer.
