(Nearly) every Premier League club’s official Player of the Season award winners

Most Premier League clubs have announced their player of the season. We take a look at the winners list so far.

 

Arsenal:
No news as yet, though the smart money is on Bukayo Saka retaining the trophy he won last season.

 

Aston Villa: Matty Cash
The right-back is the only Villa player to start all 38 Premier League games in the same season he made his international debut for Poland. Jacob Ramsey walked away with Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season.

 

Brighton: Marc Cucurella
The Spanish left-back’s brilliant maiden season in the Premier League was acknowledged by an awards double. Cucurella was named Seagulls’ Player of the Season by both supporters and his team-mates.

 

Brentford: Christian Norgaard
The Danish midfielder picked up gongs from the supporters and his teammates after a season in which he made more tackles than any other Premier League player.

 

Burnley: 
They will be in no rush to make this announcement. What price Nick Pope’s third award in five years before he buggers off?

 

Chelsea: Mason Mount
He was run close by Thiago Silva but Mount emerged victorious for the second successive season after notching 11 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League without any of us actually noticing.

 

Crystal Palace: Conor Gallagher
The on-loan midfielder won a third of the supporters’ vote, with Marc Geuhi raking in 24% and Tyrick Mitchell taking a 16% share. Mitchell was crowned Young Player of the Season at the end of a season all three Eagles became full England internationals.

 

Everton:
No news as yet; it’s a small field of candidates.

 

Leeds United:
No news as yet; it’s a small field of candidates.

 

Leicester City: James Maddison
Maddison scooped the Supporters’ Player of the Season award after 18 goals and 12 assists in all competitions. But the Leicester players voted for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as their best performer in a disappointing season.

 

Liverpool:
Yet to be announced by Mo Salah is surely a shoo-in…
