HOUSTON – Houston Dynamo FC open a three-game road trip on Sunday when they travel to Dignity Health Sports Park to face the LA Galaxy at 7 p.m. CT. The match will air live in English on AT&T SportsNet and in Spanish on TeleXitos 47.2.

Houston closed a three-game homestand with a 2-1-0 (WLD) record after they fell 1-0 to Seattle Sounders FC on Wednesday at PNC Stadium. The Dynamo played with 10 men for nearly 40 minutes after midfielder Adalberto “Coco” Carrasquilla received his second yellow card of the game for a foul near midfield. The Panamanian international will miss the game on Sunday and be eligible for Houston’s match against Real Salt Lake on May 28.

Houston finished with 14 shots against the Sounders and the Seattle backline limited the Dynamo by combining for seven blocks and saves. The Dynamo offense was held scoreless at home for the first time since a 0-0 draw with the Portland Timbers on April 16. Houston played the Galaxy to a 1-1 draw in the first meeting of the year in Southern California on Sept. 15. The all-time series is currently tied at 12-12-10 and Houston holds a 4-6-5 record on the road against the Galaxy.

The Galaxy return to Southern California with a point after their 1-1 draw with Minnesota United on Wednesday. The Galaxy split a pair of games against FC Dallas and Austin FC prior to the match with Minnesota and hold a 2-1-1 record in May across all competitions.
