New Mexico United, the Somos Unidos Foundation, and Western Sky Community Care are thrilled to announce the inaugural “Move United” 5k, 10k, and 1k Kids and Pets Fun Run, benefiting the Somos Unidos Foundation. The race kicks off in one month, June 18th, 2022 at United’s training facility at Mesa del Sol. The event will include live DJ’s, health and wellness activities, a costume contest, certified Chronotrack race timing, and more! Registration is just $30 for adults and $10 for kids until June 12th and is open NOW!

“We are so excited to welcome the community to our Mesa del Sol training facility, and continue our goal of reducing barriers to sport, health and wellness in our communities,” said Somos Unidos Foundation Executive Director Chanel Wiese. “Every dollar raised from this event will go back into growing the game of soccer in New Mexico, and improving the lives of children in our state. Join us for a morning of movement and fun!”

Every registrant in either the 1k Kids and Pets Fun Run, 5k, or 10k races will also receive a New Mexico United swag bag and t-shirt! The 10k will lead off the festivities at 7:30 AM, followed by the 1k Kids & Pets Fun Run at 9:30 AM, and finally the 5k at 9:45 AM. Early bird pricing (until June 12th) is just $30 for adults, and $10 for kids, with prices increasing beginning one week before the race.
