CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicago Red Stars fell to the San Diego Wave 2-1 in the Red Stars’ first trip out west to face the new club. Rookie Ava Cook scored the club’s lone goal, making this her first goal as a professional.

9′ A Red Stars corner kick rattles around in the San Diego box and falls to Bianca St-Georges who takes a shot that goes just wide of the post
