Manchester United cannot wait for this season to end. What started as a promising campaign with a returning Cristiano Ronaldo and a lively Jadon Sancho has turned into a disaster.

The Red Devils were tipped as title challengers at the start of the campaign, but a dismal start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw the Norwegian manager sacked and replaced by Ralf Rangnick.

The German manager hardly improved the Old Trafford side during his time as interim, and United now sit in sixth after a dismal performance against Brighton.

It’s certainly been a campaign to forget for the 13-time Premier League winners, with a handful of embarrassing scorelines along the way.
