Gary Neville points to Klopp frustration as perfect reason Conte would be wrong for Man Utd

Antonio Conte, Liverpool v Tottenham May 2022

Gary Neville has used Jurgen Klopp’s frustration at Antonio Conte as reasoning why Manchester United were right not to go after the Tottenham boss.

Conte has made his name in European football as a fantastic tactician who brings success wherever he goes. Indeed, the 52-year-old has won league titles at Chelsea, Inter and Juventus.

United eventually went after Ralf Rangnick to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November.

However, Rangnick has not been able to inspire a major turnaround in the club’s situation. In fact, the Red Devils are now almost certainly out of the running for the top-four race.
