Taxis Fountas scored his third and fourth goals of the season in the 35th and 43rd minute of the match.

Brad Smith and Brendan Hines-Ike recorded their first assists of 2022 in the 43rd minute.

Julian Gressel recorded his fourth assist of the season in the 35th minute.

Rafael Romo made his first MLS appearance as a 49th minute substitute.

Bill Hamid returned to the starting XI for the first time since April 16 against Austin FC.

Sofiane Djeffal made his first start since suffering an injury against Austin FC on April 16.

Defenders Steven Birnbaum and Brendan Hines-Ike have played every minute this season (810 minutes).

The Black-and-Red are 7-15-5 against Houston all-time.

D.C. United have a 6-5-3 record against the Dynamo at home all-time.
