Juventus are pondering making a serious move for Chelsea star Christian Pulisic, according to a report in Italy.
The Old Lady are looking to revamp their squad in the summer with as many as five new signings arriving. And one of those arrivals will be a replacement for Paulo Dybala. The Argentina star will see his contract expire next month and he will leave Turin.
Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed the news in March. The 28-year-old Argentina striker has been in Turin since joining from Palermo in 2015, but Max Allegri is now looking for a successor.
And Tuttosport report that USMNT star Pulisic is a target.
Pulisic, 23, is not their only option though because Sassuolo star Giacomo Raspadori is also an option.
The 22-year-old Italian has impressed with 10 goals and five assists in 33 games for the mid-table Serie A side. He is under contract until 2024 and would be a cheaper option than Pulisic.
Chelsea paid Borussia Dortmund £58m in January 2019 and with two years remaining on his contract they would more than likely be looking for their money back on the player.
Pulisic has made just 10 starts in the Premier League this season and he is undoubtedly frustrated.
And, following another substitute appearance in Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Everton, the player’s father went public on Pulisic’s thoughts.
“The sad thing is he loves this club, teammates, and London.… puts his heart and soul into being a pro,” tweeted Mark Pulisic. “Onwards and upwards my boy…big 6 months ahead.”

Whether or not those comments have alerted Juve to Pulisic remains to be seen. But it would certainly seem as though the attacker would be open to offers.
Pulisic seems willing to take on a new challenge and he could join up with his USA compatriot Weston McKennie in Turin.
Just exactly what stance Thomas Tuchel will take is open to debate. The German coach has taken issue with Pulisic’s travelling for international duty.
