two issues clouding future with journalist explaining Radrizzani plan

Kalvin Phillips, Leeds midfielder during Premier League clash at Elland Road

Leeds United supporters face a nervous wait to see if Kalvin Phillips remains at Elland Road beyond this summer with the next few weeks entirely key to his future.

The homegrown hero has become something of a talismanic figure at Elland Road. Since being converted into a defensive midfielder by previous boss Marcelo Bielsa, the star has gone on to achieve international honours with England.

As per the Daily Star‘s Jeremy Cross, he claims Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani is currently unprepared to offer Phillips a new £100,000 a week deal.

He states any decision on his future remains on hold until June.

However, if Leeds do avoid then Radrizzani and Co are reportedly confident that Phillips will sign fresh terms.

Leeds are currently just two points clear of the relegation zone, having played a game more than 18th-placed Everton.

The Whites though face a tricky run…
