NEW ENERGY (system – New Bay 3yos, recent run)
Progeny of the sire New Bay tend to improve for their seasonal return and NEW ENERGY, third to Dr Zempf in a Leopardstown 7f Listed race on his comeback a month ago, might be able to reverse the form with the winner in this 1m Listed contest. New Bay three-year-olds are 37 from 151 when returned to the track within six weeks of their previous outing and backing them all would have produced a profit of £23.79 to the usual £1 stake.

GET IT (system – Twilight Son, 3yo+, 5f-7f, good or faster going)
Older progeny (3yo+) of the sire Twilight Son seem happiest when given fast turf and a trip of 7f or shorter. Combining these conditions would have found 23 winners from 128 bets (18% strike-rate) for a profit of £11.39 to a £1 level stake at SP. Clive Cox is three from nine with his qualifiers for a profit of £16.88 and GET IT could be the answer to this 5f handicap.
