‘If I have to’ – West Ham target Thiago Mendes issues strained update regarding his future

Thiago Mendes, Michail Antonio, Lyon, West Ham, April 2022.

Thiago Mendes, a reported target for West Ham, has issued an update regarding his future, stating “If [he has] to stay” at Lyon then he will do so.

Mendes has been a mainstay of the Lyon side for the past couple of seasons. The Brazilian made 32 league appearances last term, and has made 27 this season.
