Liverpool are considering reinforcements in central midfield this summer and Jurgen Klopp is a fan of Monaco powerhouse Aurelien Tchouameni.
News emerged after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Villarreal in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final tie that Klopp is set for new contract talks amid a major U-turn on his plans to leave the club in 2024.
With a quadruple still a distinct possibility this season, all the focus is on the remainder of this season but that doesn’t mean some attention hasn’t turned to the summer – and the Reds are keeping an eye on Tchouameni in particular.
