The top 10 scorers in Europe’s big leagues in 2022: Lewy, Mbappe, Son…

The domestic seasons across Europe’s top leagues are heading into their final weeks, but 2022 is still only a few months old.

There’s plenty of time, then, for some of the continent’s top strikers to push their way to the top of the top scorers list for the calendar year.

Already, though, some familiar faces are leading the way. We’ve taken a look at the top 10 at the top goalscorers in Europe’s five major leagues – the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Premier League – so far this calendar year. Note: we’ve included 12 names to include all three players in joint 10th.

Instead, it’s been Son firing in the goals since the turn of the year. He’s got nine in the Premier League in 2022, and only Mo Salah (22) has more than the South Korean’s total of 17 in the race for the Golden Boot in England’s top flight.

Antonio Conte, it seems, is really getting the best out of Son.

10= Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Punctuality problems and a general lack of interest meant Aubameyang was first stripped of his captaincy by Arsenal and soon after shipped off…
