Villarreal president Fernando Roig insists the club are taking action to ensure their stadium is not overrun by Liverpool FC fans in their Champions League semi-final second leg.

The Reds are enjoying another successful season under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp. With the Carabao Cup already in the bag, Liverpool are in the FA Cup final and going toe to toe with Manchester City for Premier League glory.

In addition, they are also gearing up for their fourth European semi-final under Klopp’s reign. Having won all their previous matches at this stage under the German – together with their current form – they will go into the clash at overwhelming favourites.

During the recent Europa League quarter-final between Barcelona and Eintracht Frankfurt, supporters of the German club managed to obtain 30,000 tickets at the Nou Camp.

Making it something of a ‘home atmosphere’ that seemingly played a piviotal role in Frankfurt’s historic victory.
