Every Premier League player to have played over 2500 minutes

Simple one, this. How many Premier League players have racked up more than 2500 minutes of first-team football this season?

We did the 1000-minuters back in November, if you’re interested.

Manchester City – 11
Joao Cancelo (3782), Ederson (3583), Bernardo Silva (3300), Rodri (3135), Aymeric Laporte (2976), Ruben Dias (2811), Kevin De Bruyne (2676), Raheem Sterling (2567), Kyle Walker (2576), Ilkay Gundogan (2558), Phil Foden (2516)

You would have got pretty long odds on Bernardo Silva and Aymeric Laporte being in the top five of Pep Guardiola’s most-used players this season given they both reportedly had their hearts set on leaving the club last summer. But that’s what Pep does; just when a player is about to up sticks, back they come into the fold.

Liverpool – 10
Alisson (3780), Virgil van Dijk (3720), Trent Alexander-Arnold (3314), Mohamed Salah (3284), Jordan Henderson (3155), Joel Matip (3136), Andrew Robertson (3118), Fabinho (3023), Sadio Mane (2994), Diogo Jota (2937)

The 11th most-used player is Ibrahima Konate on just 1738 minutes. Jurgen Klopp loves to complain about how tired his players are due to factors beyond his control, but he is in control of how much he plays them and he’s really flogging that top ten.

West Ham – 9
Tomas Soucek (3764), Declan Rice (3764), Craig Dawson (3603), Jarrod Bowen (3443), Michail Antonio (3412), Pablo Fornals (3149), Aaron Cresswell (2927), Lukasz Fabianski (2880), Said Benrahma (2581)

Their Europa League exploits have caught up with them a bit in the Premier League and whether they manage to keep Declan Rice or not, they really need another midfielder or two fit for purpose.

Chelsea – 9
Antonio Rudiger (4290), Edouard Mendy (3629), Thiago Silva (3265), Mason Mount (3049), Cesar Azpilicueta (2985), Jorginho (2960), Marcos Alonso (2839), Kai Havertz (2798), Mateo Kovacic (2645).

Thomas Tuchel has shuffled his pack pretty well given Chelsea have played every game in every competition available…
